Best CFB player prop bets this week

Cam Vaughn Over 28.5 receiving yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -114 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.27%

Trusting Jacksonville State freshman receiver Cam Vaughn has been difficult this year. Since his seven-catch, 130-yard performance against Louisiana Tech on Nov. 9, Vaughn has caught three passes for 12 yards in his last two games.

But the volume has remained there. Vaughn leads the team in targets (58), receptions (35), and yards (529) this year. He earned seven targets against Western Kentucky in Week 14, but some key drops limited him to seven yards.

I project a bounce-back showing in Friday’s rematch and would be willing to bet this up 29.5 yards or better at our best sports betting sites.

Bryson Daily Under 132.5 rushing yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: -115 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 53.49%

Army quarterback Bryson Daily has put together an impressive season. He’s accumulated 1,348 yards and 25 touchdowns on 240 rushing attempts, averaging 5.6 yards per rush this year.

That will be tested against a Tulane team that ranks 21st in defensive success rate against the run. The Green Wave rank 10th in early downs EPA, which bodes well against an Army team that wants to avoid third-and-long situations.

I project Daily to finish more than 15 yards below this mark, which is likely why his rushing prop has dropped from 132.5 to 128.5 at FanDuel. Grab this bargain at BetMGM.

College football touchdown predictions for Friday

Mario Williams anytime touchdown (+150) ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +150 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 40%

Mario Williams has made the most of his first season at Tulane after transferring from USC. He has recorded 48 receptions for 831 yards, turning that into an average of 17.3 yards per reception.

The only thing Williams hasn’t done much of is score touchdowns. He has four this year, including a two-touchdown effort against USF on Sept. 28.

projects 0.59 receiving touchdowns for Williams against Army, suggesting there is value in his +150 anytime touchdown odds at DraftKings.

Ashton Jeanty Over 1.5 touchdowns (-125) ⭐⭐

Best odds: -125 via Fanatics | Implied probability: 55.56%

It can be challenging to find an edge in the touchdown market on the best running back in football during Championship Week. So, I’m not going to lie to you and say there is a ton of value in Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty scoring multiple touchdowns. Our Mike Spector discusses Jeanty along with other college football Championship Week player props and best bets.

But this can be a fun way to have action on the Mountain West Conference championship game, especially since Fanatics’ -125 offering is so much cheaper than the rest of our best sports betting apps. BetMGM and bet365 charge as much as -200 for this same ticket.

Jeanty has scored multiple touchdowns in eight of his 12 games this season. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him have another special showing on Friday night in the MWC title game.
