Entertainment, one of the best sports betting sites operators, was named the Casino Operator of the Year at the the 2024 EGR North America Awards.

The event, held in New York City on June 27, is dedicated to honoring the best sportsbooks and iGaming operators in the country. This is the first time Caesars has won the award after took home the top honor in 2022 and 2023.

“I am thrilled to be able to share that Caesars Entertainment won Casino Operator of the Year at the EGR North America Awards,” said Matthew Sunderland, SVP and Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Digital, which produces one of the best sports betting apps. “I could not be more proud of our iGaming team, and this is a validation of all their dedication and hard work. Caesars Palace Online Casino has surpassed all our expectations so far, and we are just getting started.”

Upgrades, expansions, and partnerships

Caesars Entertainment's victory comes on the heels of Caesars Digital previously launching Caesars Palace Online Casino last summer. The mobile casino also went through a refresh in April and included a multi-lobby navigational layout, offering curated lobbies like live dealer and slots.

Beyond the upgrades and refresh to Caesars Palace Online Casino app, operations at Caesars Entertainment have also been expanding.

Among the various ways Caesars expanded was its partnership with Laguna Development Corporation (LDC) to establish several in-person sportsbooks in New Mexico.

Caesars also completed its acquisitions of WynnBET's iGaming operation in Michigan last month in an effort to expand Michigan's online casino presence while taking advantage of WynnBET Michigan's demise.

Beyond those two key moves, Caesars entered into a blackjack partnership with the NHL. The new live-dealer offering, which went began ahead of the NHL playoffs, was available to residents of the New Jersey sports betting, Pennsylvania sports betting, and Michigan sports betting scenes.
